Burn-out sucks. 

It's a horrible thing to be so highly trained in the mental health services, yet feel so exhausted and depleted by those same clients and experiences.

The MHC group is an open-format, clinical-level therapeutic support group that covers A LOT of ground including professional development, stress, burnout, and professional crisis.

Using Existential, AIP (Adaptive Information Processing), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) models, we can help you get back on track, manage burn-out, and avoid impairment. Secondary Traumatic Stress may be a part of our work, but it doesn't mean we have to be crushed by it, or to give up the professional work we enjoy.

All licensed mental health professionals, regardless of clinical background, are welcome. (Really - this group is focused on the impact of the clinical work we do, and not a particular professional style. All are welcome).

MHC groups are available in-person only at the Huntsville office. 

At this time the groups are forming and days/times are not set. 

Fees will be $60 for each 90 min. group. We do not take insurance.
